Grateful

I actually am in Awe of this past six months. I’m sorry I haven’t blogged in a little bit but I have been going through some stuff. Let me fill you in and let me tell you how I have been blessed. In the last two months I got let go from my job largely due to WoodSmith Estates. I almost lost my 81 year old father. After a botched procedure he was sent home from the hospital being Sepsis. Thank the Lord I happened to check on my dad. Then a few weeks later we had our first wedding. The brides DJ & Limo canceled on her within the last 24 hours. And their wedding came off without a hitch. But through all of this I realized how lucky and grateful I am to be able to help these couples. I love being someone that will listen when their DJ cancels and they need someone to stay calm and try to help. I wasn’t able to do much any of the connections that I had were all booked for that Saturday but I listened and I was supportive. I also had a bluetooth speaker that we could plug into if we needed that. But thank God I didn’t - the mother of the Bride was able to reach out on Facebook and found someone. Right now we have 16 weddings booked for next year and we have already exceeded my goal for the business. I look forward to serving these couples and trying to make the place better for them. I have been blessed (I’ll go into that more some other time) and I want to spread that blessing onto others.
